Generally I enjoy my Big Muffs with more knobs rather than less so seemed it up being a fun challenge. It is tuned dark with a lot of gain and the tone control has been tweaked to be more mid-forward. The stock settings are volume and gain fully maxed out with the tone set just north of noon for a bit of treble boost.
